Miscellaneous Shots Aleppo , Syria

Motorcycle Diaries : I got this shot while exploring a newly constructed area in Aleppo where i coincidentally saw these children playing with an old broken down motorcycle/Truck.

Feet: A group of children came up to my while i was taking pictures of the Ommayed Mosque and i just felt compelled to take a picture of their feet , don't ask me why!

Stripped: Purely a spontaneous shot , i saw this man as i was exploring aleppo and he seemed to me like a man who had lost everything he held dear and what remained was this wooden stool that he held on as if it was his only possesion.

Saheb Al Thil Il Taweel:I Took This While I was in Sargilla , it reminded me of an old childhood cartoon on "Amman 2".

Red Light Green Light: I stood in front of this traffic light for 20 minutes until i got the red ,yellow and green lights at the same time.

These are various pictures taken from my visit to Aleppo in May 06 and my stay in October 06.Comments are appreciated

Citadel Di Samaan,Syria

Now this masterful piece of architecture is the Citadel Of Samaan . Its was constructed somewhere in Syria , don't ask me where because i don't have the slightest idea and don't ask the cab driver because he doesn't even know how he got there. As you can see most of the shots focus on the grand gateway of the citadel and this is because the other parts of this structure were not well lit . Enjoy!

The Sargilla Expedition ,Syria

The following series of shots were taken at what once stood as the old city of Sargilla 150 km out of Aleppo,Syria . This gargantuan city has been rarely touched by tourists so i took full advantage of the emptiness of that place. There are 15 shots in the series but i have chosen 5 of my favorites. I might post the rest later.
